All black lives matter: abortion and racism

Updated: Sep 15, 2022

Over the past several years we have seen a rise in anti-racism activism, arguably sparked by the death of Mr George Floyd – an African American who was unjustly killed by a white police officer. While it is wonderful that people are starting to stand against oppression and discrimination faced by minority groups, we cannot ignore the glaring hypocrisy within the Black Lives Matter movement, which is filled with abortion advocates. The disturbing truth is that minority groups are still routinely and violently discriminated against in a way the world fails to acknowledge. This discrimination can be found lurking within the abortion industry and their attitude towards the non-white population. Guess what peeps? You cannot be anti-racism and pro-abortion…let’s talk about why:

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion industry in the United States, facilitating over 300,000 terminations per year. Disturbing videos and reports have emerged in previous years regarding Planned Parenthood, which highlight their lack of care for woman and their money-driven focus on ensuring that they reach their target amount of abortions per annum.

However, if we delve into the origins of this organisation, we will find a woman advocating and promoting a racist eugenics ideology.

The unsettling reality is that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger - a racist eugenicist who sought to sterilise and exterminate the black population under the shroud of “reproductive rights.” Sanger wrote: “We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. Coloured people are like human weeds and need to be exterminated.” Not only was Planned Parenthood founded with the goal to control the breeding of ‘inferior races’ but to this day, Planned Parenthood still celebrate Sanger, branding her a ‘woman of heroic accomplishments.’

You just can’t make this stuff up.

Sadly, this racist attitude aimed at exterminating the black population through abortion spread through the globe and into the United Kingdom. Marie Stopes International is a non-governmental organisation that services abortion in 37 different countries around the world. It is additionally, one of the UK’s biggest abortion providers and works tirelessly to push through extreme abortion agendas in this country and others around the globe.

It was founded in 1921 by eugenicist Marie Stopes - who founded the Society for Constructive Birth Control and Racial Progress. Stopes said: “The evolution of mankind will take a leap forward when we have around us, only fine and beautiful young people." Marie Stopes clinics were erected in areas of poverty with the goal of erasing the “lower-class” and “inferior” citizens.

But it gets worse...

Currently, the Western World is investing more money towards population control in Africa than they are in education, food, clean water and sanitation. Let that sink in.

As pro-life activist and founder of Culture of Life Africa, Obianuju Ekeocha calls this “ideological colonisation” seeking to destroy the African culture by attacking one of their most fundamental values: the inherent worth and dignity of each and every human being. Disturbingly, today Marie Stopes operates illegal abortion facilities in African countries, targeting communities that uphold pro-life policies. Stopes would be proud of her legacy. Abortion, though veiled with false labels such as “choice,” “freedom” and “reproductive healthcare,” is nothing more than a sinister attack on the black population which white supremacists and racist elites so eagerly seek to destroy.

This attitude of targeting minority groups has been perpetuated within the modern abortion industry, which still takes advantage of the rates of poverty and single parenthood among the black community. The abortion industry exploits and pressures vulnerable pregnant women. Studies show that in previous years, in New York City, there were more black babies aborted than there were born. Since 1973 in America, over 15.5 million of the black population have been wiped out from abortions – this is higher than all other causes of death put together.

It seems then, that the deeply racist agenda of Sanger and Stopes is still underway and thriving. The abortion industry was birthed by racism and raised by over-privileged elitists who dream of a privileged utopia. No matter how tall the tree grows, or how much it flourishes, the roots remain the same. The racist foundations of the abortion industry will never be buried deep enough to be forgotten or eradicated and the mission of the industry will not change. Societies can sugar-coat it as much as they like, but abortion has never been, nor ever will be, about caring or helping our society, but rather killing the underprivileged and minority groups.

Dr Alveda King - the niece of Martin Luther King Jr - states: “We are all one blood, one human race.” If her uncle could only see the black genocide taking place today, he would weep.

What has happened to his Dream?

How can his Dream be fulfilled if unborn black lives are still being targeted?

If we stay silent, the abortion industry will slowly but surely wipe out the black population. If we stay silent the fight for equal human rights by Martin Luther King Jr and other civil rights activists will have been in vain. How can a human have equal civil rights without the fundamental human right to be born? We must all learn from the example of Martin Luther King Jr and stand up for the weakest and most vulnerable in our society. We must fight for their rights; we must speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; and we must Dream…that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed:

We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.
